Ironically it's the best source for bottle in these parts.

Buying beer in PA is weird. It's like the system was designed to encourage overconsumption, buy it cheaply by the case or pay a premium for a six pack or single bottle.

I was excited to see Cantillon gueuze and kriek on the beer menu at a local restaurant. I haven't heard of many places in Texas yet that have that.

I was less excited about the $45/55 price tag though.

Pricey place, but did a 6 glass wine pairing with courses for about the same price instead.

Giving the old Cuvée René glass a spin with the Kriek. Great bottle - assertive acidity but a nice almond vanilla note that cherry in the forefront. US bottle from August 2015

I got excited for more concise labeling with their new labeler from Office Depit. And then even more when I read the label.

Did Karel say whether it was going to be distributed? He told me some time ago that he had some special projects in the works that he wasn't sure if he was going to distribute vs. just having available at the brewery.

Yeah **** buying lambic at restaurants and bars. Peeps are always trying to split bottles with me... but I have the same beers at home that I paid heaps less for and I get to drink more of.

Actually my brother stopped by De Cam on his way back from Tilquin EBF so I have no clue. I'll probably head down there this weekend so I'll let you know.
