Poured this beer to aid in unpacking the beast in the background...

Not a pure lambic, but it does have some in it! I'm really enjoying this, probably my favorite lambic/non-lambic blended beer to date.

I was inspired to drink mine last night, and yeah, very impressed. It didn't seem to have any dregs, does anyone know if this is filtered or pasteurized or something? Wondering if it's worth getting more to cellar...

It's been two days and you're complaining? My most recent ones took over a week. The super-fast results people have been getting lately are anomalous.

I haven't done it a ton, but in my 5 or so overseas experiences my stuff has been in customs for 2 hours to 2 days max.

Hey guys I have a question. In terms of trading, what would be the best way to procure vintage 3F gueuze (2008-2012)? Hot AWAs? Fresh fruited lambic? I don't have vintage lambic to trade I know it depends on the trader but if any of you have experience with this your input is much appreciated.

well much easier then haha.
'12 should be easy, i can help on that one if need be.

obviously the older they are the harder people will hold them, but i think a small combo of newer lambic bottles would get done quickly, especially things like Lou Pepes, Lam/Vig, etc.

If you're willing to do an international trade I don't think you'd have trouble finding someone who has access to a bunch of vintages on shelf and would trade them for stouts that you have fairly easy access to. Think of it as a locals for locals trade almost, really.

Trading within the U.S., you'll have to offer something more enticing because for the most part anyone who has pre-2012 bottles bought them to cellar and would need to be convinced to trade. But I've traded things like Crooked Stave sours for 2010 OG 750s for example.
