What's the go with 14 'boos. Flat as everyone says?
Bottle we had wasn't highly carbonated, but wasn't flat either. Honestly, I liked it much more than 2011, which was much too blue-cheesy for my tastes.

Take your johnnie walker banter over the the can we talk about whiskey thread.black label is so under rated.
To be fair, that still works out to about the same shipped as most places in the US sold it for.Over 17€ for golden blend. lel
Plus the euros down.To be fair, that still works out to about the same shipped as most places in the US sold it for.
Man, I really wanted to try that one. Guess I'm glad I didn't bother to hunt it down yet. Can you be more specific about your issues with it? Not much fruit, or?Flat and underwhelming. I'm a lot less bummed about missing out on it after I had it.
Many times, this...black label is so under rated.
Well for starters flat things really bother me (partly why I don't like Bruocsella). But yeah, also not very fruity, just all-around kinda "meh". Had it next to Hommage and Hommage spanked it.Man, I really wanted to try that one. Guess I'm glad I didn't bother to hunt it down yet. Can you be more specific about your issues with it? not very fruity
Wouldn't shock me. Could also be the comparison with Hommage, we opened the Framboos second. Could also be that I really dislike flat sours. I'm sure I'll have it again, maybe my opinion will change.Wow, there must be some crazy bottle variation. Our bottle was super fruity.
Yep. Big bottle variation between all the fruited 3 Fonteinen. If I want a fruit beer, I generally go Cantillon. Better overall taste and less variation in my experience.hommage had crazy bottle variation.
i'm assuming the same for framboos. the only one i've had some of was really damn good. if the bottle i have is not, then it's not.
My box from BIAB arrived, and it looked like the Hulk had personally thrown that bitch across the ocean. No idea how everything arrived intact, yet it did![]()
Last time I checked Clapton said Trey was the best guitarist in the world back in the 90s. So yea, real ******. Let's not go there bud. I have about 25 years musical experience and a college level music education. When you are ready to post your guitar videos against mine or Treys, please do let me know. that said, their fans are horrible for the most part. Most know about as much about music as I assume you do. CheersSo your day went from ****** to ******?

Drank one Saturday. Super jammy, hardly any carb but not totally flat/faro/whatever. It was good but beyond the fruit there wasn't that much going on.Bottle we had wasn't highly carbonated, but wasn't flat either. Honestly, I liked it much more than 2011, which was much too blue-cheesy for my tastes.
Raspberry skins?Had a boos over the weekend. Was still but still really really great! Lots of raspberry on the palate and a ton of raspberry skins as well. Really delicious stuff. The perfect amount of tart to compliment the beer.
Also had my first experience with st lam (2014) and that was just great. Torn between that and fou as to which is my favorite fruited lambic is.

Agree, Evan. Was a little surprised with the 50N.. couldn't really taste any cognac, even with the decanting.i normally LOVE 50n but wasn't too crazy about it this sat...my palate was probably through the ringer by the time this got opened, but it wasn't the wonderful delight that it has been all previous times i've had it. this time i'm almost positive it was not chilled at all and was decanted in the pitcher about an hour or so? before the first glass was poured.
Haven't had this yet, but skins usually remind me of a tannic/astringent sensation.
