Q Can I order from abroad?
A is okay. Please understand that just because the addressee will be in Japan only.
Currently Europe, we have ordered from a lot of regions such as the United States.
Shopping cart: In ordering bidder information page, "000-0000" to zip code , in the prefecture name "overseas" in the pull-down menu please choose.
- Name (first names), you have become an alphabetic character, the space input allowed.
• In the case of credit card payment, the credit settlement service that we have use of our, for we have to match the phone number, it seems there is a case that can not be authenticated as is the phone number of overseas. If you have a Japan domestic card, why it is better to get settled in there.

Yeah, they definitely don't just dissolve completely over time.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the fruit just gets thrown away, at least that's what two different people have told me affiliated with two different breweries.
I figured as much, that definitely doesn't make much sense to me (whole fruit just completely dissolving), but it's still pretty amazing to me that the pit dissolves even a little bit.

Apricots were on sale at my grocery store and I just received my half of a volume pack the other day.
This is the beautiful outcome of those events.

Faux Fou Foune = $17.50

Come on, man. It was Faux Foune.

Went into one of my locals last night and they had about half a dozen Golden Blends on the shelves, where none were previously (they sold out ages ago). Asked the owner and he said the distro is having a clear-out and they are now the same price as OG - and there was more out the back.

I had to stop myself from clearing their stock as it's one of my favourites. I have 8 bottles now though. If there is some left next time I visit, I'm taking them all.

Conversely, I just today went into the only spot I knew that had them within the last year, hoping it was still sitting and I could clear them out. No dice, just gonna have to really savor the one bottle I got back when I first saw them.

edit: I know this is months old, but I'm making my way through the whole thread :D

You're a fool man, buy them all.

My experience with Vignerrone is that when it is young, it is sweet, mellow and almost wine like with the white grapes. It is almost a perfect beer for a sunny afternoon.

With a little aged, the lambic starts to do its thing and it becomes more acidic. I've never gotten much funk but I don't think I've had a bottle older than 1 year.

Vignerrone or LP Framboise are my favorite loons by far. Although classic geueze with 4+ years on it is also amazing.

I've got a Vig and LPF in my cellar, and a 2012 CG just biding its time. You just made me even more excited for all of them.

I opened a 2013 Vignerrone this past weekend. It was definitely much more sour then fresh and I was getting a really nice musk/funk from the grapes. It was sour, musky grape skins, with a nice white wine characteristic somewhere in the middle.

I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say its better than fresh but not worse either. Just very different.

Also, 2014 Saint Lmvinus kicks ass.

Speaking of bottling and best by dates, does anyone know with certainty how the label and best by dates work for Boon? For example I have bottles of Mariage Parfait Geuze with 2007 label dates and 2030 best by dates. Is it like the Lou Pepes where the label date is brewing year not bottling year? In which case these would really be 2010 bottles with best by dates 20 years out?

Yeah, it's like LPs. But the bottling date is on there somewhere. The cork, maybe? I just looked at a bottle last night and found the bottling date, but I'm spacing on where it was. But I know on a 2010 label year MPG the bottling year was 2013

Just got an update on a package at JFK, arrived at customs, retained at customs, departure from international depot.... :(
That usually means it departed customs, is in USPS hands, and will be delivered this week. It's rare that departed from intl depot means the package is being returned.

i had a box a couple weeks ago delivered in 5 days. as in, first scanned in belgium on the 20th, moved first attempted delivery on the 25th... did not appear to go through customs.

it was almost terrible because i wasn't expecting it for another week, i wasn't watching the tracking close and missed the attempted delivery slip... they were one day form returning it when i went to grab it!

weird. good thing all orders don't show up within a week, or i'd be even more broke.

That's pretty quick! Mine took 10 days (and landed right after the wife left for work!). I didn't get a status of 'Departure from International Depot' like Pneill316. Hope your box is okay, Phil!

Here's what my shipping status showed throughout:

14/03/2015 13:49 Item delivered 20850 United States
14/03/2015 07:07 Item in distribution phase 20850 United States
13/03/2015 02:25 Arrival at international office of exchange USJFKA United States
09/03/2015 07:20 Item information registered manually LCI
09/03/2015 07:09 Departure from international depot BEBRUA Belgium
06/03/2015 18:37 Item has been sorted Antwerpen X Parcel Sorter
04/03/2015 12:23 Announcement of an item LCI

I didn't bother to post a haul photo, but it was just normal 3F OG (6), Cuvee Lambikstoemper (3), Tilquin Squared (2), Golden Blend (1) and a 2012 375ml 3F OG (1).

Has anyone from the midwest received any boxes from Etre or BIAB lately? Saw a few boxes of frozen lambic get delivered a few weeks ago and have been holding a box for delivery. Just wondering if now is a good time or if I should still wait a little bit longer. I know it's still getting a few degrees below freezing at night, but don't know if that would be enough to affect the cork to allow leaking.
