So... thanks for recommending, I guess?
Well, these are the stores i visit while in Belgium and i checked that they send to the states..

Beer Planet is by the way one of few that respect westvleteren in the manner that they dont sell the beer. Instead they give tou one for every 100€ you spend at the store. Generous i know but still respect

Wish any Tilquin was turding up my shelf. So jealous.

I know a place where it is, should be visiting soon. Will drop a pm tomorrow if I can secure any

Thoughts on older 3 Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek (like early 2000s)? Similar to Lou Pepe Kriek? I've never had one before, so I have no frame of reference.

Had a 2005 last year and it was beautiful. Still big on cherry flavor, & color barely dropped off. Chris at Ebenezer's swears by 3F and the oude kriek method (carbed with young lambic) rather than Cantillon's LPs (carbed with sugar) for long aging. But then the LPs all seem to age very well.

That would make sense. I was talking to Kurt the other day and he said he's been having problems with customs at LAX for the past month or so. He said boxes haven't been moving.
I recently had a box going through LAX recently that was refused entry and returned to Etre. No opportunity to pick it up and pay a fee, just immediately returned to sender.

it was for a while, all gone now (into my cellar!)

Only once I agreed to pay for a second round of shipping. Their argument was that the product and packaging wasn't damaged and they are not responsible for Custom's actions; I kind of understand the point, but it still sucked.
Yeah, that would suck but I get it for them, they'd probably be taking a loss on it if they didn't do that. I've had one box completely disappear before, they never figured out what happens but I think it got lost in the post. The re-sent that free of charge, fortunately it didn't have anything hard-to-find in it. Maybe it was sent back to them so it wasn't a loss, I have no idea. It was really strange.

I had a 2004 Schaerbeekse a ways back and it was awesome, one if the better bottles of kriek I've had. Recently had a 99 sticker lpk and by comparison it had a much richer and more jammy cherry presence, but less complex overall. Both were well balnced in terms of acidity

There is a strike with the dock workers in the port. Not sure if this would have any baring on these shipments but for the stuff I import for work, it's causing me 2 week delays.

Thanks Obummer
