Ugh that one is supposed to be damned amazing if I remember correctly.
The only thing I know is it was done through the same brewery as Ezsett. I take it is probably similar to the older Orval/lambic blends he did. But that's all I know.did you here about this beer from somewhere? i would love to learn a bit more about it

Maybe black foil was a generic thing? I've had a bottle of Fou Foune from 2005, that had black foil too.Does anyone have an idea when Cantillon stopped using black foil on bottles of
Vigneronne? I referenced the Cantillon bottle date sheet but the only mention of black foil is from 2004, was this the last/only year there was foil used?

The foil was on all the US imports I saw up through 2006, and none afterwards. Not sure about other markets.
EDIT: Nevermind, I think I'm thinking of when they started stamping freshness dates on the back.
DOUBLE EDIT: Now I'm doubting my doubt. I think 2006 for the black foil, which doesn't apply to Blåbær of course.
thanks for the input. I'm possibly trading for one, the party involved said the date was no longer on the back but was a 05 or 06. Didn't know if it was a one year thing or not so i guess not.Ca. 2006 or so

So, it's safe to assume then this is a US bottle then? not that it really matters much to me anyways.

Question for you guys that have received a bunch of orders from BiaB and other sites.
I ordered a package a couple weeks ago and according to bpost tracking the last update was on 1/7 when it departed the international depot (i.e. left Belgium I'm assuming). I've gotten plenty of boxes where it took a while to clear customs, but I've never had one where there was this long of a delay during this part of the shipping process.
Anyone else had this happen? Cause for concern, or are my jimmies getting rustled for no reason?
Same thing on USPSIf you look at the Bpost tracking there should be the tracking number you've been plugging into the Bpost site and another "reference number" that also looks like it could be a tracking number. Trying using that one on USPS and see if anything comes up.

Yeah it does. Good to know it's not completely unheard of.Does it say "origin post is preparing shipment" on USPS? I had that status for two weeks before the box was in USPS custody after it departed Belgium once.
Where in PA?Anybody in PA or CA wanna split some loon glasses to save on shipping?
Where in PA?
What do we all know about the Boon Framboises with the pink labels and foil? Any experiences? Its relation to the aberrant 375ml Framboise Boon dusting up shelves?
