OK real talk. In my 23 years I've never had dental problems, even as a kid eating tons of candy and not brushing my teeth enough. I just found a hole in my enamel on one tooth and I can't think of a reason for it other than drinking too much lambic for the past year. I thought "enamel-stripping" was a joke...

Drink more lambic, clearly it will solve the problem. You don't need teeth to chew beer.

After you get hooked up I should start that same 10/22 hunt. The lady and I aren't planning on kids and that's our anniversary (almost ten years already..) so that seems like a good idea. Plus she loves lambic.

Anyone know what the chunk of stuff is on the neck. It's been stored vertically since I got it so I don't know how it could be settlement.

Probably still sediment, many lambics are stored/shipped horizontally (though I don't know about Girardin specifically).

Yep, this. Also, I've also come across cases that were stacked upside down so all the sediment is in the neck, with plenty of the yeast stuck to the cork.
