Accurate. I got written up at Sam’s in early 2009 for “buying too much expensive Lambic no one wants.” and then again at Binny’s the next year for buying the entirety of the Cantillon and 3F stock when Shelton switched wholesalers.

Common theme was “wtf is that, I’m not spending $35 on a bottle or beer gtfo.” My best customer for these was Greg Hall, heh.

Then one day it was like a light switched flipped and it was all gone.

I remember well seeing loons on your shelves. I passed them over on the reg for Lindeman's

After the first Black Friday BCBS tasting thing in 2012, and getting lunch/drinks at the ol' Clybourn GI location, I walked over and drunkenly bought a bottle of 2011 Schaerbeekse Kriek off your shelves. I absolutely would not have paid $35 a bottle for anything at that point in my life unless I was on my way to trashed, and I was. In retrospect, I absolutely should have bought out the shelf.

2011 was when I saw Schaerbeekse sitting on the shelf at Whole Foods for an eternity. They had one of those Friday beer sales and I was finally ready to make the purchase but it was gone, never to be seen again. :(

Below Asperule Odorante and Faro?

I'm now just looking for what I rated the lowest on Untappd. Argousier isn't great but I got through a bottle just fine, I had trouble choking down a taster of Asperule though.

I agree with this, I’d rather have it than those or lhd, but not running after any.
However, I did have a batch 1 or 2 argousier 2 years ago at cantillon and again in Finland and that those were actually good.

I don't remember for sure, but I think it was a '12, '15, '17, and '13 in order.

CheapBeerBuzz can confirm, he was with me for all of them (and supplied 2 of them)
The most recent one was a 2013 that was "off". The other one we had was a 2015 which was really horrible. Totally F'd, something was wrong wrong with that one. Just cardboard and nail polish remover. Ugh.

I finally got a response from Kurt at BiaB. The short of it (I believe) is that he's working on it and picking up some bottles this week. It seemed like not all bottles will be picked up this week though. Links for shipping invoices will go out once he has bottles in his possession. If he is making more than one pick-up at the brewery, it wasn't clear how he's determining whose bottles go out first.

long time lurker, just getting back into the lambic scene after rekindling the fire on Zwanze day at Beachwood. Regret selling most of my cellar to SeaWatchman a few years ago.

Without reading back through pages and pages of this thread, anyone have any recent experience with Doesjel 2010? popped one a few days ago and it was cidery, I'm assuming heavily oxidized, but not undrinkable. Does this sound pretty consistent?
