Biab has a box up with FF, Mamouche, GCB, Bio Gueuze, cuvee lambikstoemper, BIIRC or whatever it is, as well as some fonteinen tilquin and griardin for 220 euro.

Was trying to figure out if that's at all worth the price after shipping....

Absolutely not. Terrible deal, best leave it for those of us with out of control spending habits. Nothing to see here.

Unless you're willing to sell me the Lambikstoempers glass and the Reuss after you buy the pack. In that case, it's totally worth it and you should pull the trigger asap.

With shipping it's pretty steep... $1.1/ounce. Thought about it but I really need a hiatus from buying stuff...

Probably not, I heard Tilquin isn't good, never tried since everyone on TB said it sucks. Thanks for the help guys!

If it wasn't for the out of control beer spending habits I wouldn't be here....

Tilquin Squared was phenomenal in my opinion. I think the regular gueuze is a pretty solid step down from 3F or Cantillon though.

Boon Vat77 is sulfur-city. Drain poured. dat peppered salami and cheddar though

I think a 2013 Iris recently went for like 154 at skinner auction house. That I would not pay, but I might consider an 06 vintage for 90 if I trusted the source.
Aged Iris is one of my favorite beverages. I'd drop that with no problem (if storage conditions were very good).
I trust the source, but I think the Iris would just be trade bait for me. Probably look at something else...Thanks!

Given the recent posts here, I thought those of you outside Baltimore might be interested to see what Max's Cellar Sale includes during next Friday's kick off of their Belgian Beer Festival. I've trimmed the list to include just lambics as there were some other styles offered that wouldn't apply to this thread (older Chimay, St. Bernardus, Rochefort, old Vapuer Saisons, etc.).

I'm considering getting there pretty early on Friday (sales start at 11am), but the prices have not been made available yet and they said many of the beers listed are in extremely limited quantities (only 1 bottle available for some).

Note: Their last cellar sale had regular Cantillon Classic at 30$/750ml and Hommage at $55, so I'm not hopeful for many 'bargains'.

Without knowing the price, what would your top 5 targets be?

I'm eyeballing that 2004 Iris hard. Not sure how I'm going to prioritize the rest without knowing the prices.

I'll send you money to get the CdC bottles. Those are the only two years I don't have.
Also just buy all the 10/11 Tilquin for yourself.
