I'm playing some Jeff Buckley tonight. It's been a long time, and I guess I must have forgotten what a great vocalist he was. I have a fantastic version of him singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", and his voice can almost bring tears to my eyes.

Any other Buckley fans?

Jeff Buckley is an amazing artist. Such a shame the world will never know what future directions his music might have taken, had he not passed away so young. As a vocalist, he seemed to have unlimited potential. I really enjoy listening to the album 'Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk'. Can't help but be in awe of his voice and songwriting.

Jeff Buckley was an amazing vocalist and I love Hallelujah as well. He's that filler on certain nights we all have ....oh you know what I'm talkin bout!

Buckley - Great voice.

however, I prefer Rufus Wainwright's melancholy voice on that particular song - that or Leonard Cohen...

Every time those idiots on American Idol sing Hallelujah I tell my wife that I like Buckley's version the BEST. She always replies with the very very obnoxious comment "you just like his best because you heard it first". As if I'm completely incapable of discerning which I like the best, and as if his isn't good enough to be considered amongst the best....

Yes I like Jeff Buckley a lot. I'm not really all that far from where he passed, right now.
