Merry Christmas HBT! I almost forgot to post this this year. Hope you all have a great Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, whatever!

‘’Twas the day before Christmas in HBT land
Holiday preparations proceeded-how grand!
Appropriate glassware was polished and set
For serving libations to holiday guests
Placed close to the chimney an unfilled Vittles Vault
In hopes it would be filled with much needed malt
The kiddies hung stockings in haste and with glee
Then dashed off to watch Paw Patrol on TV

As I was preparing to head off to bed
I heard a commotion, but not overhead
I opened the front door and saw something queer
A restored classic truck which had once carried beer

The door slowly opened, and what did I see?
Do my eyes deceive me? Is that Charlie P?
It was! He was here to deliver some swag
Oh, what wondrous goodies would come out of his bag

He strolled up the sidewalk filled with good cheer
And I quickly saw I had nothing to fear
He said “How’s it going? I have work to do
So relax, don’t worry, and have a home brew”

His process was solid, he’d done this a lot
He placed by my stocking a ten gallon pot
Inside the kettle ten pounds of pale malt
Then added enough to fill my Vittles Vault

He hadn’t forgotten my kids and my spouse
There was something for everyone here in the house
Toys and games for the kids for enjoyment and play
And a gift card my wife can use my next brew day

Charlie looked up, said “My work here is done
Here’s wishing your family much joy and much fun
I’ve got more deliveries to the HBT clan
I’ll be done by morning, at least that’s my plan”
He got into his truck, backed down the driveway
And just before he drove off I heard him say
“Merry Christmas! I wish you all joy and good cheer!
Now go back to bed. But first, have a beer!
