I put together a Recipe for an Irish red.
Hoping to get some feedback on it.
3 gallon boil / 5 total at finish

5.5oz Special B Malt
1.5oz Carmel Crystal Malt
4.5 Lbs Light Dry Extract
1oz Cascade Hops 60 min
1oz Cascade Hops 15 min
.25 tsp Irish Moss 10min
1lb Honey After boil

Thinking about using white labs irish ale yeast

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks !

You need to add some grains to add the reddish color. You really should look up Raging Irish red!

For what you have would prob make more of a American ale.... Maybe... Brownish no red

I like somewhere around 4 oz of roasted barley in 5 gallons to give a nice deep red color to my Irish reds.
