Thanks for the input I’m new to brewing this is my second brew. It just looked odd to me I guess .Looks like debris in space...
I see nothing to be alarmed about
Some yeast rafts... I don't see the white film mentioned but that is likely just hop oils.
I don’t want to disturb too much for a photo but I was just concerned of the light streaks as brewinspector better said. My first batch of caribou slobber turned out great, but I didn’t see the streaking. Can't tell much from the photo but it's probably OK.
It should be about ready to package
Thank you for your input, much appreciated. I’ve e kept it sealed for sure. So I guess with everything time will tell.A film from wild yeast/bacteria is called a pellicle.
It's highly unlikely a pellicle would form this quickly.
Furthermore pellicles typically only form in the presence of oxygen, so if you've kept it closed and sealed, it's definitely nothing to worry about.
Cheers. Hope it's great!
Bad lighting brothaI'm not seeing anything suspicious, but is that just hella bad lighting or is that "Irish Blonde" really that dark?![]()
