The SSbrewtech heaters are 12 volt so obviously you need a source of 12 volts to send to the heating relays on the Max2. If you use the SPIKE or BrewBuilt heating pads, those are just regular 120 volts. The controller on the glycol unit is just switching (via dry contact relays) whatever voltage you feed in.
Ok. Just ordered the ssbrewtech heaters for my unitanks. I'll copy this for the chiller.

Except I'll try to find a smaller power supply maybe like a 15a since only two heaters and two pumps.

Just received my ssbrewtech heaters and the plugs on them are xt30. Not the 2.1x5.5 jack plug. So should I cut the end and wire a jack plug to it. Or get creative

I just did this with the icemaster 2. Things to note. The power supply is at the top. In a small compartment with a fan. A 20a PS doesn't really fit. I Velcro'd it to the side so it's hovering so the fan isn't choked off.

Now that is done and holes drilled with the barrel connects. Now it's in testing now. First testing to make sure it can cool these 2 down. Have them both set to 50*. Then I'll put them to 45* and so on to see what both can run at. The chiller is set to 2*c. The heat does work! Equipment is almost ready to go. I can't wait to brew beer.
