How Am I Supposed to Keep Track of Members???

Is it me or has there been an unusual amount of switching avatar pictures? Honestly, those are what I look at to recognize members and now can't tell who anyone is.

Members control their own avatars. If you want to keep track of specific members, then follow them. Go to your profile page, look under "Settings" on the left, and select "People You Follow."

I don't remember why that happened, but it was weird.

Just for the record, I posted in Drunken Ramblings because it's not of actual concern though true enough that I had noticed two or three all of a sudden switch their avatars and hadn't realized how much I had come to identify by the photo alone.
It's been entertaining.

years ago, on a forum that has long since disappeared, there was a obnoxious poster with a username something like OldWiseOne. this poster was always talking trash, trolling, and and all around forum disruption. I had the brilliant idea of creating an OIdWiseOne account, then using it to confess that I had reached the conclusion that weekend that I was wrong on a long list of topics (I listed many, many topics) and then issuing an apology to the forum for being a total jackhat. the ensuing chaos was beyond amusing, and it took almost a week before OldWiseOne realized how they'd been spoofed. given the forum default font, it was not at all obvious of the letter substitution in the username

I use the non-branded Tapatalk, because it's way easier to upload images, including avatars, than using the browser. Don't know if the HBT version works the same, but I'd think it should.
