Hi Guys,

I'm after some advice and recommendations on the total Grams per litre of hops for a Hazy Pale ale recipe.

What tends to be your go to for such a style?

I've read online it's generally in the range of 5-10g per litre.

Is this the total amount of hops (boil, whirlpool and dry hop additions) or would you suggest 5-10 for kettle additions and then another 5-10 for FV additions.

Cheers.

I think 1 oz is about 30g

I use about 10 oz of hops in a 4.5g batch (17L). So that is 300g/17l = 17.5g per L

My standard is a small bittering charge at 60 min boil and then about 30% at flameout, 30% hopstand, and 40% dry hop.

That's great thank you! I shall try those numbers in my next batch and give it a whirl!
