Help with Auber 2352 PIDs

Is this unit New ? Any chance the "Lock Code" has been implemented ?

thus not allowing some perimeters to be changed! Check all settings for default values.


It's about a year old. I had no idea there was even a lock code. However that being said I am able to change parameters.
 
After running auto tune P is 766 I is 406 D is 46 T is 8. I will be comparing with factory settings today



P=500

I=1000

D=120

T=2 for SSR



Now look @ ALL defaults and reconfigure.

After all the settings are back to default,

then set these perimeters!

Sn

Pb

Filt

A-M

Then A-T

I will be doing this today. I'm just curious, where did you get those values from?

Ok. That's what I thought. I used those numbers and was 5 degrees over my set temp. After some trial and error I changed t=2 d=150 and p to 700. Now I'm spot on my mash temp for the whole time. Thanks for the help!

You may want to consider just using the "PB" Input offset feature

Just thought it would be a simpler alternative solution instead of adjusting the other 3 default perimeters.
 
4.10 Input offset “Pb”
Pb is used to set an input offset to compensate the error produced by the sensor or input signal itself. For example, if the controller displays 5oC when probe is in ice/water mixture, setting Pb = -5, will make the controller display 0o C.

Ok makes sense. I guess my next step is to get a calibrated thermometer to check and see it I'm even reading the correct temp. I could do it in ice water, but I read that it was better to do it as close to the temperature you will actually be using.
