I appreciate you said something about this stuff, I'd like to do more research and maybe try using it. I've been dabbling with Ginger Beer Plant, the SCOBY/jelly-grain, just happened across this forum while reading one about GBP in a 2011 forum!! I've been looking forward to experimenting with making an authentic product of GBP without using any added yeast other than that which is produced naturally... not sure I've been very successful. I'll continue trying my luck with natural methods, but this seems interesting.

Is there anything you're wanting to try making in particular with this?

Maybe you could contact Morgan's and ask them.🤔
I bought it anyway, I might try it today. I mean it's yeast, it's going to make alcohol! I probably should have asked them though. All I could find online is that these are meant to be sold as part of the Morgan's Ginger Beer kit, nothing about using them with anything else. Maybe it'll be great, who knows? I'm assuming they'll like a low ph, so they might suit the Lemon based brews best.

Not really, I don't plan on trying to make Ginger Beer just yet, although my Son in Law and my brother both drink Canadian Club Dry which is the whisky mixed with ginger and tastes a lot like Ginger Ale, so it might be on the cards. I'm going to try it with Cider, Lemonade and various other flavoured Seltzers. I've got sugar syrup on the stove right now, so perhaps I'll try it with Lemonade tonight. I wanted to try something other than Philly Sour in the Lemonade tonight anyway, so that might be the way to go. I'm glad you asked! I've been drinking the Lemonade 2 weeks after pitching, so I'll get back to you in about a fortnight with the results.
