Is blue gene the blueberry porter? If so, that's probably the worst beer ever made. Straight hot garbage.

With Blue Gene being as infected as it is, this would be substantially worse than the Bully Guppy challenge.Sounds like someone just nominated themselves to take the Bully Guppy challenge
Fair point. I did drink a crime and punishment a few weeks ago....Sounds like someone just nominated themselves to take the Bully Guppy challenge
I'll be checking out Miskatonic around 1:30 if anyone wants to come join me for a beer or two. Might hit either Pollyanna or Imperial Oak after, time permitting.
Picked up a really bad 6er of YumYum from Binny's today. Tastes like it's 2yrs old.
Blegh.
No date code on the bottle?
Nuh uh.
Well that's ******, but if you feel like coming up north I pulled these out.

Amazing MSU game, you mean. Thanks for the invite, but I serendipitously picked up a bottle of Old Scout Rye as well. Getting me through this dumpster fire of an Oregon game.
We will berbun soon.

am i the only one who thinks yum yum is total ******* even fresh? every bottle i've tasted has been a really gross diacetyl bomb, even after giving it a bit of warm conditioning time.
DAMMIT.
Not working from home sucks.
Not saying that Belgian Fest is the best thing ever, but it was a real solid time. Had 3 pours each of Thicket and Pulling Nails #3 and solid pours from many others including Middlebrow. It was dead for most of the fest, not complaining, but also not sure why.
bears season opener against the packers probably had something to do with it.
Thicket and Pulling nails are Belgian beers? I figured they fall into the AWA category no?Not saying that Belgian Fest is the best thing ever, but it was a real solid time. The same can be asked of Goose Island Lolita and all of the sour beers that DeStihl used to bring. The Side Project beers are loosely in a Belgian style, which is what the fest is going for. I certainly think they are more closely to style than the Coffee Pepper Black Saison that Goose Brewpubs brought to Belgian Fest two years back.Thicket and Pulling nails are Belgian beers? isn't Lolita's base beer a Belgian blonde/golden/something along those lines...The same can be asked of Goose Island Lolita and all of the sour beers that DeStihl used to bring. I think maybe we should just follow the rules laid out by the TTB and call it belgian-style fest, would that be OK?isn't Lolita's base beer a Belgian blonde/golden/something along those lines...
