I’ve got a great craft beer bar/bottle shop up here. They get all the ASB & Yeast of Eden releases. Problem is they are usually gone within 1-2 hrs, so it’s hit & miss (especially for the juicy IPAs)...unless I just happen to schedule a “doctor appointment” around noon on a Thursday.

Who said anything about extras! I’m just showing you guys what I’ll be drinking for the next day, or two.

That said, I’ve had this trip on the books for about a month, now. I’d planned to go to Monkish yesterday, regardless. They apparently do one release a week and don’t announce when until about an hour before they do it. We were on the way to the brewery yesterday and I figured I’d check just for the hell of it. Turns out they were doing a release that started right as we got there. Some days you’re the pigeon, some days you’re the statue.
