I can ONLY get dried yeasts out in Thailand.
So which of you knowledgeable gents can tell me the best for an altbier I would really like to brew?
Cheers,Lee.

K-97 is what I'd use, but it usually comes in 500g sachets. If you can't get K-97, you could use US-05.

use us-05 fermented low. Like 58 or 60. I made one for the NHC like that and it got to the second round. Final round judging is Thurs.

What would you say are the ups and downs of each of those three yeasts?

So,I am thinking a 23 ltr batch. 3kg pilsner malt, some crystal and maybe a little munich?
What's the best hop to go with? I just cant get my hands on any spalt!
