From what I understand, corn syrup is a very bad choice for priming. There are lots of preservatives in there (plus weird stuff like thickening agents), and most of the sugars are unfermentable.

If you don't want to bother with corn sugar, just bottle with table sugar. It works great and is vastly less expensive.
 
I posted this before reading up on corn syrup. think I'll pass on that adventure.........any mod can delete this thread, if so desired
