This isn't a trend that is restricted to CT. For every 10 breweries that start up, I'd say only 1 of them truly stands out. At the same time, only 1 (or maybe less) are truly awful. The rest are just fine.

It is supposed to be draft only (at least initially), but there were a few d-bags on the NEBCO facebook page today spreading this kind of misinformation, presumably to thin the line at the brewery for FBD.

Someone posted in a facebook thread (I guess) leading my coworker to inform me that Amity had the Alpine. I did not catch that it was news only from the bookface and I relayed it thinking I was helping others since I was stuck at work. Should have further substantiated, was just too busy. dOh.

I tried to squash that rumor as soon as I heard someone was saying we had it on tap on FB. Not cool. In fact, no one really knew about the planned release of FBD outside of the brewery.

Checked out OEC for the first time today. Extremely impressed, some of the most unique beers I've ever had. Ended up walking out with like 8 bottles. Seriously "hidden" gem.

Edit: I Recommend the Hoppy BD. Duet was alright too, but didn't stack up to any of the bottles I've had of it.

What's up everyone? For some reason I put off starting an account here after @lambandtunafish suggested I check it out awhile back. I was wondering why I haven't seen so many handles I'm seeing here, over "there" for awhile haha. Thought this may be the right thread to say that my brewery, Steady Habit, opened 7 weeks ago. We still are operating on a provisional permit but hope to have the final permit by April 12 or 13. Working out the kinks now and hoping to be an asset to the beer community here in CT for the future. If there's anything I can do to help any of you guys in reference to the brewery let me know, I've been known to meet people who can't make it all the way to the brewery to get them a fill or whatever else I can do. I hope everyone is having a good time and hopefully we may cross paths at some point. Cheers dudes!

Just snagged some DC Brau On The Wings of Armageddon today, dated 02/23. Pretty pricey, but I think it's a new addition since they entered CT last summer.

They sent a batch of cans up in December, but they were already a month old and not great. I actually still have one of them in my fridge because I couldn't even get thru the pack I grabbed.
