Yeah it's here.
Looks like I can grab a 4 pack for $14.99... I should buy tons of it, right? Seems like a great price, considering all the positive reactions I've seen.
Not sure. I think it's in the New Haven area (one beermenus listing has it), but I haven't seen anything closer to you yet...I've tried two different stores in the Middletown area and neither the Weyerbacher. Anyone know of any in my area?

You shouldda cc'ed ctbeerpope on that postThanks Iambandtunaphish.
I found myself in Moodus this morning and my wife, who doesn't like beer, asks if there's a brewery nearby I could get some growlers at. So a quick search finds Steady Habit 5 miles away from me!
Had some of their mosaic beer while in line and bought a 750 each of Mosaic IPA, a double IPA and a milk stout. I'm looking forward to trying them all.
I hope you guys have a nice Easter tomorrow. I'm trying my first KBS!
Still haven't seen this on shelves anywhere. Also is anyone else digging Captains Daughter? Really solid mosaic DIPA.
I've seen it in a few spots but I'm pretty sure it's dry now. If you need some next batch let me know!!You shouldda cc'ed ctbeerpope on that post
Also wtf is Moodus?

Yes, I like it very much. Also is anyone else digging Captains Daughter?
http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/4909/10683/ You can find this one real easily in CT and it's about as traditional a gose as it gets.I don't get the CTBeerPope reference. There were some guys in line BRO'ing it up with tales of this trip to 'Hill' and that trip to 'Tree', but I don't think it was him.
LOL, I think I hear about a town in CT I've never heard of before at least once a month. Moodus is part of East Haddam, I guess.
I try to stay away from beers with cherries, as it tastes like cough syrup to me, but I've been wanting to try a gose. I found a Siren/Stillwater collab called When The Light Gose Out, a dark version brewed with volcanic rock salt. It was good but I have nothing to compare it to.

Im not from CT, but have been hearing about OEC a lot lately. What does it take to land some stuff in a trade? Im trying to convince my GF to make the drive from Philly in May but Im not sure how successful that will be haha.
Good to hear, anything in particular I should seek out from them?I'm sure you could easily trade Tired Hands growlers/bottles for almost anything from OEC.
There are others here that will have more input than I but my personal favorites have been:Good to hear, anything in particular I should seek out from them?
Thanks so much! There are others here that will have more input than I but my personal favorites have been:
- Exilis (Berliner Weisse)
- Albus (White ale with ginger root, chamomile, and lemon balm)
- Experimentalis (various beers brewed with fruit grown on-site)
- Tempus Blend #3 - lambic/saison blend

Hey! I'm actually the owner/brewer of Steady Habit so that's why Matt tagged me. You know, I don't know how the hell you found yourself in Moodus, but I'm sure glad you did! I was the fat guy with glasses pouring beer and ringing customers out, haha. I hope you like the beer. And yes, we do have some Bro'ing going on but it's welcomed as many, many of the bros are usually more than happy to share their spoils if you have time to hang around once in a while! (Well, I know I welcome it because I no longer have time to get up to hill, th, etc!) Anyways, thanks so much for checking us out and shoot me a message to let me know what your experience is when you drink the beers! Cheers!
Indeed, the one thing from them I didn't really care for was Aeris, and it wasn't bad, just not for me.Most of what I've had from OEC so far has been great. You probably won't be disappointed with anything you get.

Yeah I'm probably sitting this one out. Insert barrel "aged" joke here. Two bottle limit for each style. 600 bottles of each available. Every beer is $10. All barrel-aged beers are 22 oz. The Road 2 Rouen is 500mL. Doors at 10. Bottle sales start at noon.
-Henry's Farm Double Bock aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels
-Unorthodox aged in Aquavit barrels
-Route of All Evil aged in Rye Whiskey barrels with ghost, habanero and chipotle peppers
-Road 2 Rouen Wild Franco-Belgian IPA (Road 2 Ruin fermented with Trappist yeast with Brett added)
That's uncanny, as I was the fat guy with glasses BUYING beer! I was actually in Moodus buying a hen for my backyard flock from a hatchery a few miles from your location.
I'll contact you directly about your beers but I gotta tell you, I had Big Bad Bunny today with my bro-in-law and we couldn't stop talking about the coffee and coconut flavors. Well done, man.
The Rye Barrel Henry's Farm from last year was one of the better two roads beers I have had.Next Two Roads release on 5/9:

As of now I believe there best beers are Urban Funk and Kriek. And I think that the Kriek is creeping up on UF for best in show after a few months of age... We'll see how it ages! The Rye Barrel Henry's Farm from last year was one of the better two roads beers I have had.
Last year's was awesome and happened to fall on my birthday. Kinda bummed this one is on a Monday. There's going to be an awesome Nebco tap takeover at Ginger Man on May 11.
I might pop by too on my way to hockeyLast year's was awesome and happened to fall on my birthday. Kinda bummed this one is on a Monday.
Might pop into Ginger Man tonight for the Allagash event, if anyone else is going to be there. Probably won't stick around long though.
The lineup is going to be ridiculous. Hoppy beer galore and a couple of casks. I may just drive home early and then take the train back down.Last year's was awesome and happened to fall on my birthday. Kinda bummed this one is on a Monday.
