I did my first brew this weekend and pitched the yeast on Saturday afternoon. Given that it has been over 80 here for the past few days I am afraid I might have pitched it a little warm 48 hours later there are some small patches of brown on the top of the cider but not Realy anything else. Should I look at pitching more yeast or wait a little longer and see what happens?

Did you take any hydrometer samples before pitching? That would be the best sign, sometimes it may not look like its fermenting, but it actually is.

Recently I did a (my first) strawberry cyser with wine yeast. I kept looking at it "Why the hell arent you fermenting, wheres the krausen, I hate this hobby, I quit". Then I remembered in wine/cider/mead theres not the protein content like there is in beer so there may not be a very visible fermentation going on. My cyser also took almost 4 days before the yeast really started getting going, and I pitched more yeast than I thought it needed.
