I just mashed in on a roasted american ale! starting to work on only drinking beer that I brew this year.

Working on an American Brown Ale. Throwing some roasted chestnuts in the boil as a bit of an experiment. Also put an IPA in a secondary fermenter. The new year is starting out well

i'm jealous. all i get to do today is take an FG reading on my CDA and watch my harvested bell's yeast very (and i mean very) slowly multiply in a starter. no brewing for me for several more days, at least. then, northern english brown then an ipa with above stated yeast.

hoping someone throws in a hop addition for me

How many IBU's you going with on this one. I'm going to try 4 1oz additions in my 5.25 gal attempt this coming Thursday, clock in at around 80 IBU's give or take.

I did a six gallon batch with 1.2 oz additions totalling 4.8 oz and 94+/- IBUs. Using WLP002 this time and a higher OG...
