So about three weeks ago, I bottled a batch. Then real life happened, and I forgot to pasteurize. The bottles (just over 2 cases) are in the basement at a cool 62 degrees, so no breakages as of yet. I took a bottle into the kitchen and opened it. Fortunately I was near the sink, because it did "Old Faithful" a bit. Poured the remaining cider (about 10 ounces from a 12 ounce bottle) into a glass, and it is tasty. So tonight, i'm going to defuse all the bottlebombs by slightly prying up on the cap. Then I'll let them recarb and pasteurize, probably in 3 - 5 days. :mug:
