I'm no quitter !!!
I was washing my amoxicillin down with home brew for Strep throat. You must have been on XXX-azole type.I spent 18 days in January and 9 in February on antibiotics so essentially I had a dry January. But that's all over now and beer is more delicious than ever
IV something for a week(septicemia from a kidney infection) then keflex for almost 3 weeksI was washing my amoxicillin down with home brew for Strep throat. You must have been on XXX-azole type.
We (me and the big hair) read about dry January after New Years so we are doing it, but since we started on Monday the 13, we are going to February 14th. No weight loss, but I think it isn’t a bad thing to abstain for a period of time. There’s plenty of normal people that never drink.

You'd think that a thread with "January" in the title would die on its own by March... but maybe these super sober cats are too hyper focused on their tasks of the moment to stop and look at the calendar....the moderators should lock this thread, lol....if they want more supporters, crap like this is bad for business....![]()
My glass just went dry - does that count?
No, just the standard IV in the arm for fluids and constant antibiotics-basically the strongest one available(I was sick). Then once home Keflex 3 times a day for 20 days. Strangely after all these years of drinking I had zero cravings for any alcohol, and now that I'm healthy I drink half as much as before. On e ore tw beers in the late afternoon, and a Scotch or bourbon on the rocks around 9 PM.PICC line?
Corona virus maybe? I had one once and it made me drink less too! I wish. But I'm healed, and ready to get after it again. No corona in my house, either the virus or the beer.Corona virus maybe? I had one once and it made me drink less too! Sounds terrible!
