They just won a couple more medals at the Best of Florida this week

They were awesome. Talked to the owner and brewers. They were brewing. I opened a few homebrews and they enjoyed it and even the owner of green branch enjoyed my sour stout.

Just saw that OMG is 22% abv, I guess the name really says it all

It was awesome. I cant describe it. So well done. Wish i could get a bottle.

This store puts beer from damaged packs, packs where one or more beers have "disappeared", and beer that's just not moving in the clearance section. I'm assuming the nitro cans were from a 4 pack where 2 cans were either busted or were stuffed in someone's jacket. I think the Ten Fidy is because they are no longer going to carry OB. It's from December, so it's not even old. I don't find good stuff there every time I go, but I have bought some great beer for half price or below.

Did you drink the nitro yet?

Sunday morning stout is peopably the best 'shelf' barrel aged coffee stout I've ever had. Try one know before the hipsters totally blow it out of proportion

I've heard goot tings.

Didn't Mark pick up like 12 last week, prior to packing my box that'll be here Saturday?

Makes one wonder.

You aren't inspiring confidence. I'm using it in a class in teaching on Saturday. Too late to change it.

Whatever, it isn't a class for beer nerds.

What's the theme of the class? If it's Subpar Nitro Can Beers, your golden. ;)

I could see the mist from Niagara Falls from my dorm in Freshman year of architecture.

Boss just halted a project I've been working on for a few days. Said nevermind, he confused that project with another... more wasted time. I've so had it. Going to buy a hot dog cart and just go hawk red hots on the streets. **** this.

Hey, those guys pull down some 6-figures a year. Go for it.

Damn nice pairing too. Sucks about the weather. It will probably be a while before I should have a stick but quitting is for quitters...

Definitely not today for me either. I'm just happy I haven't blown chunks since 4:30am. Was able to keep down Gatorade and a couple pretzels. I imagine I will drop some weight in the meantime.

Is Chunks the name of your dog? I am sure he appreciates that you stopped. Or not... You never know.

I keed I keed. Need to remember to be friendly

So this was so much fun last year I've decided it's time for v2.0...

Just in time for spring and multi-hued, oval zygote pooping hares, it's time to guess how many jelly beans are in the Pilsner glass! Person closest to the total without going over will win a box of beers from my cellar, tailored to your personal tastes (within reason)

To enter - send me a PM with your guess (please put jelly bean in the subject in some manner so I can search for these later.) All entries must be received by 9am EDT on Friday, March 25th. In the event of multiple entries with the winning guess, first on to have sent wins.

Have fun and good luck!

Want/need more information for figuring out what size the glass is. Is that one of the 12, or 22 oz glasses? That can make me be off by tens of jelly beans.

Yay. Finally caught up in time to go home and see if I can find a beer.

Thank god the app is working again. Last bit of Resin, bed, Always Sunny, and wife on one side and cat on the other stealing my warmth.

You have a cat, I have a 55 lb 4 year old human jackhammer. Dude's lucky he's cute. Cannot get him to stay in bed. No clue. Hope it ends sooner than later.

So glad I don't have that problem. Our daughter has never slept in our bed with us. Ever. We just never gave in and made it clear that she has her bed and we have ours by sticking to a consistent routine. Even right now, it's thundering and lightening and she's asleep in her bed with the door closed. Won't see her until about 6:30-6:45.

We're a couple of damn suckers. Especially for him. I'm the hard ass and I still get run over. He usually okay spends an hour or two early in the morning, but there are nights he bounced out of bed as soon as the hall light is off.

Intro to craft beer.

Maybe I should change the title...

Ok, that's not bad. I think breweries like Sam Adams were a lot of people's intro to craft beer. They were definitely responsible for me taking an interest in craft. Also a good intro to nitro cans. So, it still fits in the application you're using it for. But, if you want to include a nitro can in the lineup, I'd have opted for Young's Double Chocolate Stout. It's better in the bottle, but the nitro can ain't bad either.

And there's nothing wrong with that. My parents gave in every time I ran into their bedroom and I grew up perfectly fine with absolutely nothing wrong with me.....No, tell him NO now before it's too late!! :p

We don't get Young's up here, that would be mine as well.

The other beers (in case you wondered):

OB Mama's Little Yella Pils (new tp our distro this week)
Founder's Ruebeus
Bell's Porter
New Belgium Caramel Salted Brownie
SN Tropical IPA

Food menu:
Irish Stout Mac and Cheese
Lamb Shepards Pie
Irish Coffee Cake with Irish Cream icing and Salted Caramel drizzle

Nearly 3 cases (bomber cases) of beer in the trunk, laundry is drying, I sent my last crap out for work, and I just need to pack crap up and leave. Hoping to leave at the latest 7 am. Tired..so tired.

Look. I found a sideways box to use to pack the 50k givaway! Or maybe I'll do a mini one , feeling inspired by CAD

G0d4mnit, app is all screwed. I got a box inside a slightly smaller box. So 2 big shipments to some lucky winner in the future

Side note: its an aluminum hevay duty pot. I got it, not for brewing exactly, but to use for filling my kettle, cleaning, etc. The handles on my last cheap 5gal pot were starting to tear off. The notes say I need to boil water in it first. If im not actually making beer in it, is this necessary?
