Damn y'all have been busy. Enjoying my first solid meal since Sunday night. A scrambled egg and piece of toast with some sweet tea and a side of Norco. Starting to get almost to normal except the crippling stomach cramp that hits about once every 30 minutes for about 10 seconds then goes away. Choose your parents wisely...

Man I feel like Cad today, work is pretty much done and still have 6 hours stuck here. Did just get a call to do something, so 10 more minutes of work. Yay.

This kind of crap makes me so angry. People are just eating it up. So, I used to love sweets and hated bitter. Now that I 'trained' myself to like bitter IPA's and no longer can stomach sweet things, does that mean I trained myself to be malevolent and psychotic? Or does it mean I was like that from the beginning, and was bound to prefer bitter things?

Just stupid. At least it was no more than a 30 second read.

But it makes some valid points. I can't refute that I like IPAs or that I'm NOT a psychopath.

Well. Just got an email from the bank saying they sent me a new chip card, and that if I don't activate it by 3/8 my current card will go inactive. Oh. That was yesterday, thanks for the funking heads up. Walked to the bank, they still use my old address despite my change of address request when I moved um.. I don't know, 6+ months ago? Now I have no card until it's expedited to me on Monday. Big funking wallet full of cash now. Awesome.

When it rains, it pours.. and it's always ****ing raining over this way.

My bad...

OT:

Ever have white hots? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hot

I have not but they look god. ISO

That's right up my alley. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll add it to my must try when traveling lists.
We were actually thinking about visiting my wifes name-sake county Clare in the future, so going in with an idea of what to try food wise is a plus.

Clare is a great place. Really beautiful, great pubs and flying to Shannon is quicker than Dublin.

Never have understood the appeal of eating things with blood in them. I cringe when I watch bizarre foods and he's showing people making blood foods or one episode in Africa where they drank blood straight out of the cow and ate the bits that coagulated in the container. Blood is not part of any of my food groups. To each his own, I guess.

I guess. Maybe you're the @iijakii of the food world. :p

Slightly related if anyone ever happens to head to Taiwan (AKA food heaven) try these bad boys. Your eyes do not deceive you; that is a indeed a saussage served in another kind of saussage instead of a bun.

Tastes as good as you would imagine.

Oatmeal Raisin $1.45 2
Chocolate Chunk $1.45 3
Double Chocolate Mint $1.45 2

Insomnia cookies ftw

Would kill for a brat right now with some onions and mustard, kraut. Wish the local home depot had a brat cart outside like the ones in Texas did. Would swing by real quick and grab one.

Thanks Gavin.

Brisket sandwich with pickled jalapeño and onion, beer cheese sauce with nachos and salsa. Win

Also not enough brisket visible in the photo.

Reported: Vegetarian lunch

The chips look like the nice hard crunchy ones that I like to gobble up a ceviche. All the fish bits being served on a giant version (A tostada I think)

Do mini triangular tostadas = chips in Philly?

It really all depends. These were definitely made locally somewhere, but were too thick and unseasoned to be a real chip. I dunno what I would classify them as.

The serving saussage is rice/pork based. No dog stands outside Lowes/HD in Oregon. How can you live from day to day without falling ito a hole of funk and despair.

If you say DEM, you lose a testicle.

(movie ref. Too easy?)
