The 1st was pure tap. This was my first use with Bre'n Water. Efficiency went through the roof! Ended at 9.6%. But the recipes calls for 12oz c40, which caught my eye and Falconers Flight/Citra, which I thought a odd combo. But i'm still a noob. Anyway, having that same odd snoot flavor, just tells me recipe. Never had Maine Dinner myself, so no comparison available. All good, had 7 brews with no dump, that's a record for me. But this was recipe instead of something I did or vinyl keg lines..which caused a few 1/2keg throw aways.

Are you dealing with the chloramines in your water at all? Just a thought.

What's snoot?

I always use reconditioned RO water. Tap in Austin is super hard, 9.5pH, and full of chlorine.

Snote..snoot..sniff really hard up your nose until the thick liquid hits your throat and examine that flavor. Snoot. Especially if your sick...yum! BTW, no one got sent this sample..

Thanks fins at least you responded! I did....this. its brewed a glorious 30 min. Drive from where i was born. Up the big thompson canyon. The other side is estes park? Longs Peak looms over 14,000 feet high it's keyhole framing the city. This time of year the water rages down hill as it melted snow. We raft it, a young stud like you it would be a dream come true.

Hahahahahaha. I said feel free to strong pour, but not like.... Hulk smash pour. Just didn't need to be overly careful. Love it.

Good beer though? I liked it. Ugly as funk too.

This is much needed after rolling 60+ tatami mats for the cutting portion of the tournament. Eff me.

Wow, 2hrs 20min? 5hrs for today's 3.5gal rye pale ale. A record. But working on smaller batches..

Did you see the recipe killer. 15 pounds 2 row 1 oz cascade 45 min 1oz. Flameout. Dry hop 6 oz. I really would like to be captain quick. The saison took me 2 hours and 20 minutes as well check out my thread

O ive rafted haha back in 2008 we hit the Royale Gorge when it was over 5,000 cfs. Pretty intense

Btw, most of us have seen your thread of "quick" brewing. I think i can speak for most of us when i say that not everything needs to be rushed, especially the fun process of brewing. Most of the comments are mockery.

Love how your porch looked. Wife would have killed me if that happened. Kind of make me want to send some only so you can buy another fridge. Lol
