Quick question. For a five gallon batch what do you think the average PSI going through the Airlock/Blow off tube would be?

I have a senior design class asking and I have never worried with such info.

Negligibly close to 0 psi. Other than the hydrostatic pressure of the height of the fluid column in the airlock or the height of the fluid above the tube in a blowoff vessel it's not a pressurized system.

They were just looking for a number as they are using a sensor to map the flow of CO2 passing through the sensor and airlock during fermentation.

Their idea is to graph this data and when it levels off wait a certain amount of time and send the user an alert through the app.

Look at you flyover states getting into the hops game

This one has been around for years... Paging @Billy-Klubb for history lesson. I'm going to say 8 years.

Having some coffee while I pack a box for a lucky friendly chap who seems to be dancing at the moment.

That actually reminded me to fridge those other 2 Woodcocks, lol.

longer than. our oldest is 8 and I was getting it at the brewery before he was born. if I had to guess beyond that, I'd say 11th Hour has been around for at least a decade. if my memory isn't all flocced up, they've been canning it for 7-8 years. West Rivah, suckaducks!:rockin:

Welp. My memory is good... Only had it out of the can. And on tap but after the can.

Cans.

You're welcome. Your box just took all my packing materials on hand you selfish son of a !

flyover intensity starts at 11. it goes up from there.

So... Have to ask. Is homebrewing congenital?

Had a pint of my meh peach wheat, and then killed the partial howler of DIPA from the weekend. My pallet has cleared, as I no longer get the sweet/cinnamon/vanilla flavor I got in the hotel. Either that of I was really affected by the room's air freshener.

Anyhow.. Sorry to those with family issues, and congratulations to those with new jobs! PKU is hard on a phone when multi quote is wonky.
