Got a new idea for a Igloo Fan........ basically just a tote filled with water and I'll put a T-Shirt over the buckets and drop frozen water bottles in there and turn a fan on it.

I'll update with my results............ look at me, innovating again......... if any one has any thoughts..... please let me know....... would love to discuss it at length.

Got a new idea for a ball cooler........ basically just a tote filled with water and I'll put a napkin over the balls and drop frozen water bottles in there and drop a toaster into it.

seems like a lot of work for temperature control. And what do you do when it warms up again?

Speaking of temp control mishaps, I mistakenly assumed that my garage held steady at 60 or so. My RIS is fermenting at garage ambient, in a water bath to hold temp better. That damn water bath was at 55 last night when I got home. Pulled a sample, and it's dropped about 15 points since Saturday, the sample measured at 58 when I pulled it. I pulled it from the water, rocked it gently, much like one would a baby, to get the trub into suspension a little, and rigged up a lightbulb in a coffee can and threw a moving blanket over it.

Hope I didn't eff up a 50 dollar beer on a stupid assumption. I'll berry punch myself if I did.

Long story short, wifey wants me to get the busted freezer fixed or find another one on the cheap. I think she could see my dismay at the situation.

Upside is that the barely fermented beer tastes kinda like Moo Hoo with coffee. Score.

You'll be fine. Sounds like you took all the right steps to get it to finish out.
 
So not even that original? Lol. That Icybreeze was on Shark Tank a couple weeks ago. The best part is the owner had put 5M into it already. Into a cooler with a fan.

WTF! It is a nice idea however I think we could design something that works with an ice chest we have for less than $100 if you could not dual use any of our brewing equipment.

You're fine - the yeast may be a big sluggish from being cooler than they'd like, but you don't really get off flavors from that. Just slowly bring it back up to where it should be and they should wake up and finish.

Broke my phone...snapped it right in half after being asked repeatedly a stupid question. No, you ****tard, the answer is no, you are wrong...the answer hasn't changed since last week. the ****ing drivers are dimming native.
I'm gonna have to choke a b. Time to take a walk...half hour of my life donated to working with the mentally challenged...should claim that time on my god damn taxes as charity work.
