It could be from the malt, true. It could be from a calcium rich water supply, too, I think

I'll look at the profile again. I use RO, then remineralize. Thanks.

I've gotten something like that from yeast... It was more powdery than chalky, but I think those are similar.

I'm sticking with safeale5 until I get this process for RISs down. Yes, it's hard to quantify. Love to hand out samples for critique. Oh... drinking these...IPA nice. Belgium not so much.

Any chance you used chalk? Not sure if you caught all that science talk about it yesterday or not but its not supposed to be used in brewing.

Thanks, I thought so too. That's why I posted it.

Too bad they wasted all that effort on an over-hyper hipster citra bomb, ya know?

They were all pretty cool and well done. And don't you dare speak negatively of ZD! I'll punch you right in the brovaries!

Slow Day. Reading what I need to do to start a brewery. Still a noob and a lot to know before i officially go on.

Dunno what the laws are like in TX, but its a $h!tshow in KY. Alcohol laws are set up to protect the bourbon industry and they make little distinction vs beer. I lasted like 11 minutes before deciding f-this. I'll just need a business savvy partner. That, or gypsy brewing seems like a cool idea

I'd like to see him go out with Cam riding him like a bucking bronco into the end zone for a game winning TD. ;)

By my calculations, if Peyton was to carry Cam's 245 lbs, 6' 5" frame for any longer than 5 seconds or 10 yards.. there would be a 62% chance that Peyton's forehead would finally esplode. The rate of growth his forehead has achieved (0.5" per year x 14 pro-bowl appearances) is at max capacity. Structurally, there is no way he could win the game like that.

No...was that discussion imbedded in the 5,887,795 posts?😊

Here's my re-mineralization ingredients. Been doing this for a while, first time with this calk feel thing. I started 90min mashing with all the grains, could that be too long for the roasted grains?

It not that bad here. Wineries have it the best here. There are still some archaic laws and breweries pay more in fees than a wineries. As always a lot of political BS and money to open. Some of my really good friends opened a brewery so I have some insider info and need to sit down and iron some details out.:tank::rockin:
