By my calculations, if Peyton was to carry Cam's 245 lbs, 6' 5" frame for any longer than 5 seconds or 10 yards.. there would be a 62% chance that Peyton's forehead would finally esplode. The rate of growth his forehead has achieved (0.5" per year x 14 pro-bowl appearances) is at max capacity. Structurally, there is no way he could win the game like that.

Nice! Homebrew shop/bottle shop that's been in the works for a while is finally opening walking distance from my place tomorrow. They've come to my club meetings a few times. They're carrying a number of UK hops at my request. Hopefully the prices match my normal place (which isn't far, but requires driving). I'll probably go in and attempt to sell my soul for a job so I can do something easy I don't hate while I continue working on my business plan.

Just consolidated all the credit card debt I married into at 2.99% fixed, if I just paid the min payment, I'd be done in 5 years. Of course, we can afford much more.

Hell. Yes.

I see light at the end of the tunnel. The last debt to clear (besides the mortgage).

And people say I don't do anything at work.

Dang, nice work man! We have the opposite problem. She has never had debt and therefore has no credit. Talked with a mortgage lender a few weeks back and she literally had no credit to look up. Just took out a personal loan and another CC for her. She found it odd that she has to have more debt to get better credit. It is wrong if you think about it.

That's my problem. I got denied for STUDENT CREDIT CARDS when I was in school, and they hand those things out like candy. I'm a ghost. Two out of three of the bureaus can't even find me for a free annual report. The other had nothing listed last I checked

My wife on the other hand has excellent credit. She put me on our credit card which maintains a small balance but always paid on time, so hopefully something is going to build up.

Yeah, it's weird. Having a bunch of cards and not using them is better for your credit rating than having just one and using it responsibly (or having none at all).

SWMBO picked this up. I'm thinking it's way past due..."super-hopped" is an overstatement.

Souvern tier IPA. Big day tomorrow. Brace yoselfs for a whole lotta angst or ridiculousness depending on outcome.

So in the morning while I'm busy at work you talk brew science every day.

When I get home and can finally spend some measurable time on here, it's this stuff.

You people are just awful.

Folks, we have a winner.

I was the same way up until a few years ago.

I took out a personal loan that my parents co-signed, got a credit card for purchases and carried a small balance.

The best part about it was... After a couple years of never missing a payment, my credit score was ~750. Now today, I'm over 800 but have only ever had a handful of loans.

False. It's not like you need 10s of thousands of dollars in debt to qualify. $1K CC and an small personal or auto loan should do just fine.

Think of it like a business plan. You need to show banks you are somewhat profitable without being a liability that would justify loaning you a large sum of cash.

Also like having an employment history.

learned a lot about credit when trying to get our house. Despite us being able to afford way more than we were approved for, they wouldn't give us more because of our current debt (all school loans). Her credit suffered immensely because of the debts she actually paid off. When I met her, she had tons of credit cards maxed. We quickly paid them all off. Apparently, any credit we she had from those cards was completely erased. Come to find out, keeping debt in a card, under half the limit, and just paying minimum on them is way more beneficial than paying them off.

Live and learn too late I guess.

Did somebody get close to figuring out office space issues?

Did meatloaf with bacon jam mixed into the meat. Next time I'll do that as well as the crust and report on the winner (although I'm pretty sure I already know). I'm also thinking a nightcap is in order.

Aww, that's cute. You needed mommy and daddy to co-sign for your fighting costume and stick.
