While your at it, add cotton candy grapes to the list. You can make a wine soak some oak in it then add it to a beer.

I'm also thinking of a bochet a friend made that was like pungent fire roasted marshmallows. And how to make a s'mores braggot out of it by getting the graham cracker and chocolate bits out of malt (or maybe just cheating and using chocolate).

Mashing up some Grāpples and adding some wine yeast I might actually do. The other stuff, probably not.

Water. I need to dry hop my IPA but really unsure if I can bottle this weekend or if it will have to wait until next weekend. Also need to check the gravity, but last beer I opened the top of before bottling turned into gushers so I'm a little gunshy.

And flocc it, tossed in 2 oz of Simcoe and 1.5 of Amarillo. Gravity down to 1.012, sample tasted amazing. Definitely harvesting the yeast for future IPA or pale ales.

I have it all worked out i could make a ton of money selling breakfast burritos but then i think about 20 years from now and even if i was successful i feel i would wake up one day and realize i spent the last 20 years of my life making burritos and i don't want to do that. making and selling burritos is not a bad thing i just don't want to do that. Looking back i sought lifestyle and time. Most people find what they are looking for. .....

I think the whole "love what you do" is overrated.

I agree. I dont mention it by no accident as well as money. Interesting enough things i love i dont want to do for a living it would steal the passion of it or change its dynamics...2 quick anicdotes my buddy loved taking pictures growing up loved it would go out in nature whatever taking photos dreamed of hasselblads. Went to school became a photographer works in la shooting movie stars, hot chicks for maxim etc..you think he spends his day off with a camera? Think he is inspired shooting pics of some jerk who has contracts that say "dont look the talent in the eye"?
I love to golf shoot in 70s as mentioned before. I no doubt know a lot of club pros (no fast route). They spent years working the shop and apprenticeing and now they are always there, they never get to play really and after giving lessons all day to hacks and dealing with everything else most dont spend their off time golfing. That said some do! most of them envy me as i show up after work for nine im kind of living their dreams infact perhaps finding work that allowa you to do what you love is the goal.
The chinese say the most important things in life in order
1 work
2 love life
3 spiritual discipline
They put work first because most will spend the vast majority of their time doing it. I believe the better the balance in these 3 areas the happier a person can be. Most of us have at least one great hobby right...BREWING!

Hit the ugly IPA with gelatin, should be clear by Saturday for the 1st Annual SuFu Smoke & Brew.
