Never got the rest I needed today but I finally ate. Who knew a girl like me could go 48 hours without any food? Friends brought over paper plates, cutlery, cups, salad, chicken and cookies so I didn't have to cook or do dishes. I ate the salad in about 10 minutes, maybe less, and ate two chicken legs like it was my last meal. Washed it down with a coke zero. I should just drink, I'd probably feel better. Maybe tomorrow since I won't be working my 2nd job tomorrow. :(

Feel better girl!

woah @banesong ... are you willingly going to Texas for a vacation?

Feel better girl!

I want to. I have an appointment at the Ortho Monday, but if I wake up like this again tomorrow there is an Ortho Urgent care not far from here. The biggest issue that I never expected was showering. I felt like I was going to pass out this morning. I wish I were being over dramatic about the pain. I've never felt like this before.

Now onto water...the hard stuff yanno.

Not sure what's been going on since I'm so far behind on this thread (no way I'm still a top poster at this point), but that sounds rough. Feel better!

Yeesh. I have been fighting a thrown lumbar since monday. Chiropractor + ice + alcohol has worked wonders. I feel ya, and feel better.

I will rsvp right now. This sounds like a great time for me and the kids

Dude. I am there. Need to find a day that I can meet up and share a stout or two. And then go the next day so I can enjoy!

Do you foam roll? Hurts at the time, but makes short work of muscle soreness (including those little spinal stabilising muscles apparently). At some point last year I tried to do a very early morning leg day and got sloppy with form doing deadlifts and tweaked my lower back. Foam rolling 30 seconds stationary along the spine, 60 seconds on either side of the lower back, plus lower back stretches, and I was back in business in just a couple days.

I get it in Walmart.

My Walmart has a machine but I just figured it was plain ol' filtered water. Is there something on the machine to look for that will say it's RO?

I buy distilled water for my beer. I add salts in depends on what beer I'm making. Not too bad but I want a RO system

I can get an RO system through work but not sure I want to make that purchase yet. Don't think I brew enough to justify the cost.

Excellent Dunkel and measuring my Pils FG

A point higher than I wanted at 1.009

Never used a dry lager yeast before this

Probably do one or two more with this strain before buying a new one.

Also in sad news. My keg of DEM kicked at dinner.

Not that I could see. I spent a good 10 minutes one day looking at it trying to solve that very conundrum. I must have looked like a right tool. It is RO water though.

I checked my last purchase before my last brew. Total dissolved solids was 7ppm. Distilled is 0, my tap water is ~150

3rd pint of HB wannabepils lager. Really liking this beer now that I stopped trying to compare it to a german pils. It's extremely refreshing and dry. Surprising because it finished like 1.012 yet is so dry. This yeast, boy I tell you hwat.
