2016 variant:Does that mean 2017 will be corked and caged?
2016 variant:
BC Eisbock. 29% ABV in 40oz bottles.
2016 variant:
BC MD 20/20 29% ABV in 7.5 oz bottles.
They make BC Barleywine every year now.Correction-looks like they are a mix of 33-35yr old barrels. Insane.
King Henry 2.0 in 2016?

Jesus, I threw up in my mouth a little reading this.Yes but BC Barleywine = BW aged in regular BCBS barrels, King Henry = BW aged in BCBS Rare barrels.
I'm definitely going to buy some but unlikely to stock up like I did last year unless the price on regular/barleywine is about the same per ounce (which I'm not counting on).
Looking forward to the **** show that Rare causes. The FIB War Room is going to be required reading on Black Friday.

I guess but it's still basically the same beer. I'd say they changed the name just so it's consistent with the rest of the lineup more than anything else.Sorry? Just stating the facts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There's a reason they don't call it King Henry every year, isn't there?
but that's only after downloading the app and paying atrocious fees to get rid of the ads.2018 won't be bottled at all, you'll download it to your phone
Both of them go at least one adjunct further than necessary.
"How about maple and pecans for Proprietor's? It's a classic dessert combo that should work well."
"Okay, but let's add a bunch of peppers just because we ******* can!"

Not all chilis are spicy. Why does every beer have to have ******* chilis or cinnamon in it? I love spicy food but not spicy beer.
exactly. If you gave a college design class "bourbon county re-branding" project this would be the submission from the kid with the ironic mustache and coke bottle glasses.the new bottle looks like something a guy in williamsburg with a man-bun would be selling from a tall bike made of aluminum he reclaimed from an artisanal mill upstate

In reality this is a move so they can stretch distribution of the variants to Guam and Samoa. There won't be more in established distribution. All in all this is a win for variants in terms of availability, but a loss for regular BCBS. GI went that extra step when they didn't have to.
am i on BA?
going to be my first year of hunting... any suggestions how to maximize my haul?
