I'm definitely going to buy some but unlikely to stock up like I did last year unless the price on regular/barleywine is about the same per ounce (which I'm not counting on).

Looking forward to the **** show that Rare causes. The FIB War Room is going to be required reading on Black Friday.

Whatever you find that you don't buy I'll take baby :)

the new bottle looks like something a guy in williamsburg with a man-bun would be selling from a tall bike made of aluminum he reclaimed from an artisanal mill upstate
exactly. If you gave a college design class "bourbon county re-branding" project this would be the submission from the kid with the ironic mustache and coke bottle glasses.

All in all this is a win for variants in terms of availability, but a loss for regular BCBS. GI went that extra step when they didn't have to.
In reality this is a move so they can stretch distribution of the variants to Guam and Samoa. There won't be more in established distribution.

The El Paso, TX market would be a huge breakthrough for 14% bourbon barrel stouts. If they get it done at the expense of keeping more in the Chicagoland market, so be it.
