You're getting way too sweaty already this morning. It's way to easy to get you upset.
Brady's Mile-High Problem
Tom Brady traditionally has struggled in Denver. The quarterback is 2-4 in games played there, including the postseason, his worst record in any road location.

Effin Desert come outta nowhere and is all over ya sht. And we all though he had died of old age!

Let's just shut it down.... Maybe start fresh in the morning.

Hey, hey, hey! I got a real job unlike you nozzles. Plus I need a lot of rest and viagra to keep up with this 30 year old when I'm not working.

Caesar's has Denver and Seattle as 4.5 point and 3.5 point favorites, respectively. Can't wait to plop down some cash on NE and Seattle. Easy money.

Cape is either trying to reverse psych me out so that I don't pick NE, urgh!!, or trying to get the line to widen in the hopes that some Vegas sharp reads this thread.

I can't believe 1) they actually pulled the two seed out of their asses and. 2) they actually beat the Colts. I ranted about this a couple weeks ago. What ? Were you all sleeping or something? I have NO idea how they are winning these games.

... Now they are going into Denver with Lagarett Blount against Manning, at home , with the Thomas's, Welker, and Decker going against a D that has now lost two starting D-linemen (including a pro-bowler in wilfork) and both starting inside linebackers including Mayo who has led the team in tackles the last five years.

And people are taking the Pats??? Really ???

I'll take that bet all day long.

Of course everyone is going to choke "ohhhh my God.... Cape has gone cuckoo!!"

No.... I think just getting this far is a testament to how awesome the Pats are. Take out half the starting Defense and all five of the top five pass catchers from last year ... Then start more rookies than any other team in the NFL.... And STILL make the fcking AFC Championship Game. Are you fcking kidding me !?! Most
other teams fall apart if someone farts too loud in the locker room. The effin Pats tie both hands and a foot behind their backs , cover one eye and STILL end up in the AFC Championship.

Filthy

Cape - Denver's defense is hurting and let the Chargers take a backdoor cover (-9.5). The first three quarters of the game was a blow out, but Denver never capitalized on their opportunities and their defense not only let the Chargers make the competitive, but also almost let them come back towards the end. If the winds are whipping in Denver, I don't see Manning or Brady bombing the ball out to their receivers. The Pats unveiled an impressive run game, and if they can do the same against Denver the game will be very close. I still think Denver wins but doesn't cover the spread.

This isn't even smack talk - right now, the Pats are playing out of their minds considering all the points that Cape just brought up. And, if anything, they're going into Denver to meet up with a Broncos team that just might be in worse shape injury-wise.

But if the Pats can keep playing at the level they've played at their last three games, they've got a very legit shot this weekend. The Super Bowl, that may be another story altogether...

Tom Brady; 6th round
LeGarette Blount; undrafted
James Develin; undrafted
Danny Amendola; undrafted
Julian Edelman; 7th round
Hoo-man; 5th round
Nate Solder; 1st round
Logan Mankins; 1st round
Ryan Wendell; undrafted
Dan Connolly; undrafted
Marcus Cannon; 5th round

There's your offense. Matthew Mulligan (undrafted) played 33 snaps last weekend, as did Kenbrell Thompkins (also undrafted).

On D:

Rob Ninkovich; 5th round
Chandler Jones; 1st round
Sealver Siliga; undrafted
Chris Jones; 6th round
Dante Hightower; 1st round
Dane Fletcher; undrafted
Jamie Collins; 2nd round
Aqib Talib; 1st round (but acquired for a 7th round pick)
Devin McCourtey; 1st round
Alfonzo Dennard; 7th round
Steve Gregory; undrafted

You also saw a lot of Logan Ryan (3rd round), Andre Carter(1st round, way back in 2001), and Kyle Arrington (undrafted).

This team's got no business winning games, but the fact that they are means they aren't going to roll over for anyone. Love this squad. Eighteen guys playing key roles who were drafted in the 5th - 7th round, or who weren't drafted at all.

And no, the Broncos are not in worse injury shape. Von Miller's a big loss, but not that much bigger than losing Mayo. Not bigger than losing Mayo *and* Spikes. Vince Wilfork's one of the two or three best defensive linemen in the game when healthy. And when healthy, there hasn't been a better tight end that Gronk since Mark Bavaro retired. Sebastian Vollmer, a legit Pro Bowl offensive tackle. Tommy Kelly was playing phenomenally well before he got hurt. And, our receiving corps has been decimated with injuries.

Hold the phone Bird... Chris Harris... done with torn ACL in the Charger game.

well, well, well... let's just hold on a second now.

That leaves 71 year old Champ Bailey and his peg-leg back there. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Well, our wide receivers not named "Julian" either suck or are hurting. New England's running the ball because that's pretty much all they CAN do at this point. We don't really have anyone to exploit a weakened secondary.

Niners Seattle game I'm not sure. Logic tells me Seattle but the Niners are the hottest team going right now.

The AFC game, New England is gonna dump all over the folks in Denver again. Blount will rumble for 150 against a bad defense and Brady will continue to make the plays when he needs to and show that the whole Brady or Manning debate isn't really even close.

You guys really put a lot of work into your arguing. What does it say about you when you are a master of internet griping?

Side note because I know how riveted you all would be..... Just boarded the Acela for two nights in NYC. Going for work meetings but will have my nights free. Blind Tiger ( my usual stop) and Tørst are on the schedule. Wooo hoooo!

I think NE runs all over Denver. The Broncos suck at run d and that's how sd was able to keep it clOse during the season. With the blount is running I don't see how he doesn't have monster game.

Lions hired Jim Caldwell, hahahahahahaha. Some fans never get a break. Back to 2 and 3 win teams. Caldwell is a ****ing dumpster fire of a head coach. Megatron should ask to be traded.

Jim Caldwell to Detroit is a perfect fit. 2-14 in last season in Indy makes him more than qualified to coach the Lions.

Come on you guys. Take it easy. It's too early to start in on all the Lions bashing. First you have to have a good preseason to build your hopes up, THEN you can start the downward spiral!

I honestly think it will be an improvement for them. Schwartz was an idiot and only hurt the (scarce) talent that the lions had. Now if only suh would retire already, they might be good

He made Tulloch and Levy probowl level guys. His problem was being an undisaplined hot head. Caldwell is a fine OC, he's a hapless wet noodle of a leader. No way this team, with all that talent, wins more than 5 games this next year.
