I don't know anyone that doesn't feel good for both those teams. They have been hapless for so long. Now the Jets struggling, I'm ok with that. Another season or two and I will even feel bad for the Dolphins. Well, maybe half a dozen.

Ok, it's either 2012 and 2013 1st-rounders, or a 2012 1st and a 2013 2nd. If the Raiders win a playoff game this year, it's a 1+1, if they don't it's a 1+2.

That's a HUGE cost. Figured that Palmer's trade value was what, a third-rounder (at best)? NFL trades are always weird, but really... giving up that much in draft picks, even if the Raiders do hold onto a playoff spot (or even win the division), they could still lose on the trade.

I sure don't blame Cinci. They're 4-2 with the rookie at the helm, and they weren't going anywhere with Palmer. The team around him has sucked, but he hasn't really been an elite QB since before he was hurt. It *was* dumb of them to refuse to trade him for so long.... but in the end, brilliant since the Raiders paid through the friggin' nose to get him.

EDIT: If the Raiders *do* win a first-round playoff game this year, it'll be Palmer's first.

Carson Palmer is one of the most overrated QBs in history. He like one decent year the Kemo said that is enough of that. The talking heads kept bringing him up as an elite QB for years after that. I have never seen anything like it.

Too late now, missed the trade deadline.

Chad DosRecepciones has been terrible (worse than the guy he replaced, Brandon Tate), but at least he's not being an ******* about it. He's not giving interviews, not in a "I'm going to be a jerk to the media" kind of way but just because he's keeping a low profile. Haven't heard a word out of him other than "I'm working at it," and everyone on the team seems to have his back. He's not bitching about his lack of snaps, or targets. I don't think he's even tweeted in months.

So, he's been bad, but he's really the team's fifth receiver (maybe sixth, once Woodhead is bad at full speed and/or Kevin Faulk is activated). So, there's no need to dump him.

I do think we're likely to see a little Taylor Price soon, he looked good in preseason (a lot better than DosRecepcions has looked all year). But still, it's mostly irrelevant in terms of whether the team will be successful.

I bet Taylor Price loves Ocho. It's always nice when there is someone higher profile than you not able to learn the offense to draw the fan and media ire. If Price were able to learn it, he would be in there.
