Made my first batch in almost 3 years today. Don't remmeber the numbers but it's pretty close to what the brew shop had written down. Hope it turns out good like my first homebrew.
 
Tahnks for the welcome back. Fermentation has started and is about a bubble every 3 seconds. :rockin:
 
The fermentation process has slowed down to a burp about every 2 minutes. Think I will transfer to my secondary for another week and then bottle to see if it clears up anymore. My next one my be a porter and then another stout.
 
Update, decide not to tranfer to a second stage, bottled instead. My alchol content should between 3 & 4% which I think is alittle weak, but should make for a great drink after a hot day outside working. Going to try my first bottle in a few days.
