Really excited about all of these. I've been wanting to try both of these JK beers, Wicked Weed, and the Daybreak sounds awesome. Any additional info you can give me on the homebrews excited for those as well.

Out of curiosity, which Nocturn is that? Just got back from Austin with some Blend 2.

Tipping T. The entrance is less than 50 yards from the main JK entrance on Fitzhugh. [...] Its about as far of a walk to JK from Tipping T as it is from the far parking lot! You do have to jump a small ditch and there is a lot of tall grass with sticky burrs, but these are minor inconveniences to stay basically on JK property!!!

Yeah, it's extremely close. Keeping it in mind for our next trip to Austin. Pulled in a decent haul this weekend.

Toss that BA porter in the fridge immediately!

They overshot the priming....with honey. We've had a couple bottles explode on the shelves, the brewer said it was from being in the direct sunlight (which it wasn't)

Regardless, no beer should EXPLODE on the shelve even left directly in the sun IMO

Sorry for the rant, SICK haul!! Just don't want to have any carpets ruined or better yet, someone hurt!

It bugs me...a lot. I'm not quite sure why though, the definition fits.

Priming with honey is analogous to using home grown hops for bittering. Unless you paid to have it analyzed you're just guessing where the margin for error is too damned tight!

Except that if you go a little under/overboard with unknown hop bitterness, you vary in your bitterness and it might just be not quite to style. You go under/overboard on priming and you can either be flat, or have exploding glass shrapnel everywhere.
