Brewery vs Brewing Co. - your choice

Hello,

Just a little curiosity here...what do you call your homebrew operation? For example, do you call it "John's Brewery" or "John's Brewing?" Both are perfectly acceptable, but I just had a touch of whimsy and wanted to know what people choose as a name, and why.

Do you personally choose one just because of the way it sounds, or something else?

I started using "Hermit's Cave Brewing Company". I went with "brewing company" because of the alliteration-ish I get with the "C" in Cave and Company.

I've never bothered to name my homebrew operation itself, but I suppose if I were to do that I'd go with "Brewery." I'm not a company. I just do it for fun.

Well, the 10 Barrel Brewery is about 5 blocks up the street.

So I call mine the 1/3 Barrel Brewery.

Being in Bend, it was that or De****s Brewery
