I am going to make some liquid smoke from Briess Cherry smoked malt.
I have to make 45 pounds of pulled pork and don't have the time to babysit my smoker for 12 hours.
I am going to warm steep a pound of the grain in about 2 quarts of water and then make a BBQ sauce with the liquid and some of my Robust Porter as a base.
That's as far as I've thought it through so far and if someone has suggestions for the sauce, bring it on.
