    Oxygenation Kit 2.0

    Is it worth it/needed? $50ish For my Ales I have been just shaking the carboy/bucket. seems to be working fine. Want to do my first Lager. Buy O2 kit or just shake the carboy? Or what other methods do you guys/gals use?

    Whats floating in my Wine?

    So I bottled this wine a few months ago. Before bottling I treated it with campden for 24 hrs. Prior to that it had stopped throwing lees. I stored them at 65F on their sides. I decided to take a look this afternoon & saw this in every bottle. Any ideas? Tartrate Crystals?
