I brewed my first hefe and used wlp300. Im not sure what i did wrong but i pitched on saturday, fermentation took off great when i woke up on sunday with a nice white krausen, come wednesday the krausen was gone and nothing is happening in the airlock. everything is tight and i know not to trust...

I read somewhere that if i add a few drops of fermcap with my hefe it will control the kreusen enough where i wouldnt need a blow off. I just wanted to see if anyone else has used this preventative measure for an active fermentation. :tank:
