Anyone use the Kegco 61" Commercial Kegerator?

Good suggestion - something I wasn't aware of. Though I wish the Plus was a little bigger, it is still bigger than my Keezer and WAY easier to load being a front loader. Price doesn't seem that bad either from what I'm seeing - quite a bit cheaper than the Kegco commercial unit.

Anyone use the Kegco 61" Commercial Kegerator?

Yes, everyone escaped fine - and the garage mostly survived (so the boat did as well), but otherwise a total loss. I would be upgrading to the Perlick stainless faucets I previously had, proper tubing, etc. They sell a black version as well that's a couple hundred bucks cheaper. Noise...

Anyone use the Kegco 61" Commercial Kegerator?

So I built this about 10 years ago, 6 tap, 6 keg, stainless everything, all Perlicks, dual gas, and I didn't really spare much in the expense department at the time: This happened in January: We are building a new house on our property and doing all the insurance BS. I will need to replace...

Who makes a GOOD CO2 regulator?

I built my Keezer about 6 years ago (I believe...could be 7). I'm on my 2nd regulator. 1st was an entry level Taprite. It has been a few years, but I believe both a gauge and regulator failed on it. I then got "The Governor" which was supposed to be a good regulator. It is no longer sold...

SS Brewtech FTS Temperature Control for BREW buckets

I have the SS brew bucket. I've keep thinking about building a fermentation chamber (nothing fancy; old freezer with light bulb in a can for heat using an STC-1000 for temp control. I'd spend more time acquiring the freezer than actually building it. OR...buy this when it comes out. My...

Sparkling wine loosing carbonation in the lines

Why would I want to do that? I just ordered a 120V fan for $12. A DC would require either running another set of wires external to my Keezer and use up another plug. A 120V I can hard wire straight to my STC-1000, and either run it 100% or when the compressor is running. My STC-1000 is wired...

Sparkling wine loosing carbonation in the lines

To answer questions: - Argon is for non-sparkling. It is perfectly safe and preferred over Nitrogen for wine - I have multiple regulators (I did NOT cheap out on my setup). - My sparkling wine is @ 40psi. It was the set and forget method. Beer is @ 12psi. I can buy the...

Why is my steel co2 cylinder leaving a rust ring on the bottom of my keezer?

Or just relocate the tank outside of the Keezer. The place I use just swaps out tanks and uses aluminum, but I still keep both my tanks outside the Keezer so I have more space inside for what's important. :)

Storing my homebrew outside my keezer for a couple weeks - questions

So, my father suckered me into hosting for a surprise retirement party for my step mom. 50 people and I'm sure they want to hit up my 6-tap Keezer. BUT I don't want to share my good stuff with a bunch of people that think Yuengling is an exotic beer. The only times my kegs have ever...

    Keezer conversion

STC-1000 is the way to go. At $16.50 shipped nothing comes close to matching it for a lot more. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008KVCPH2/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 FYI, most of the wiring threads for it are garbage on here. Using external plugs, electrical housings, etc. I wired mine...

    fermentation chamber and kegerator ?

It will work, but who wants to go without beer on tap? I've got a 6 tap Keezer and sometimes wish I went bigger!

Sparkling wine loosing carbonation in the lines

Anyone? I know it's not the popular thing here (wine making and kegging wine), but its important to the wife, who is cool with having the Keezer in a very visible part of our home.

Ran out of propane while brewing..am I screwed?

Good to hear. That O2 injection is no joke - I've never seen such active fermentation before; normally I just aerated with the output of my vacuum pump I use for wine but this is way more active!

Ran out of propane while brewing..am I screwed?

I started home brewing early this year, doing my 5th kit this morning (all extract kits from Midwest Supplies). Today I was doing a Honey Weizen. 60 minute brew, with hops/malt at the beginning, honey @ 30 minutes in, hops and rest of honey @ 50 minutes in. At ~40 minutes I ran out of...

Sparkling wine loosing carbonation in the lines

I have a 6 tap Keezer, with CO2 and Argon gas supplies. We kegged half of a batch of wine and forced carbed it at about 40psi. It's good except when you first use it the sparkling wine in the lines has lost most of its carbonation. Once that comes out, then what is in the keg is fully...
