Stop right there... OT for sec. Where did you get the barstools?

I use an Thinkpad T42 with 2 gigs of ram that I mostly troll around the house with. When I want some real estate though I dock it and drive 3 monitors with it.

My first was a Vic 20, then a C64, an Atari (with a mouse) and then a custom built PC around when Windows 95 came out. A few more years I messed with PC's at home and Macs at work, but when OSX was announced I went for Macs at home. Been through a few powerbooks, g4 towers, now I have a g5 dual 2 tower which I don't use much and a new 17" unibody Macbook pro 2.66ghz core 2 duo. I love the macbook pro! 4gb ram, led backlit 1900x1200 matte display, and I could run windoze if I want to.
cheers

Very similar to my story -- Vic 20, C64, Amiga 500, then a series of home-built PCs starting with a 286, then (from work) Compaq laptop, then a series of ThinkPads.

Post our PC? Looks like I can't participate as I'm using a lil' ol' MacBook (frst generateion 2 GHz Core Duo with 2 GB of ram

I recently had to retire this one:

Yes, that's duct tape, a binder clip, a cloth picture hanger, and some wire. (All necessary after the hinge broke.)

Just bought an Acer Aspire 8730 series laptop. It's awesome. 18.4 inch screen, Core 2 Duo 2.1ghz, 4GB memory, 250GB HDD, Nvidia 9600m gt with 1GB video memory, and virtual 5.1 sound.

Desktop is custom built but aging. P4 3.0 Prescott w/XP-90 HSF (used to be water cooled), Asus P4C800-E Delux mobo, 2GB memory, 60GB HDD, 6800 Ultra with 256MB video memory. It OCed well on water but I rarely game on it anymore so it runs at stock settings. I think the 6800U did 450 core 1150 memory and the CPU got to 4.2ghz stable. On air it runs so hot that stock is even near the limit.
