I am attempting to do my fisrt yeast haverst and after washing in the primary I dumped the slurry into a smaller jar and noticed that the yeast has settled on the bottom of the jar, underneath the trub.
What does this mean? Is the yeast still good? How do I go about retreiving the yeast without getting a bunch of trub?
Should I keep the yeast or just dump it?
Any advice?
